Batik Textiles fabrics are handmade using traditional artisan methods in Bali, Indonesia. Our batikers apply wax to fabric by hand using dots, lines or intricate patterns. The wax “resists” the application of the next chosen dye color. Multiple applications of wax and color may be used to achieve the final design and color of each fabric.

The creation of batiks in an ancient art that has been passed down through generations of artisans. 

This handmade process consists of dyeing and stamping wax prints onto fabric. Because these fabrics are made by hand, each piece is unique and there may be variations in color and pattern in each bolt of fabric.

This lightweight cotton batik fabric is ideal for quilting, but can also be used for crafts, miscellaneous sewing projects, or home decor items like pillow covers and bed skirts.
