The creation of batiks in an ancient art that has been passed down through generations of artisans. Banyan Batiks are handmade by the local artisans of Indonesia.
This handmade process consists of dyeing and stamping wax prints onto fabric. Because these fabrics are made by hand, each piece is unique and there may be variations in color and pattern in each bolt of fabric.
This lightweight fabric is ideal for quilting, but can also be used for crafts, miscellaneous sewing projects, or home décor items like pillow covers and bed skirts.
